Humana’s CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Glendale, AZ is hiring a Front Office Healthcare Support professional who serves as the Patient Access Coordinator, ensuring data quality, revenue integrity, and a welcoming patient experience from pre-arrival through checkout.

You will handle pre-visit prep, digital intake, queue management, POS collections, and checkout follow-ups, coordinating with the clinical team while maintaining accuracy and excellent patient rapport.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer literacy and patient eligibility/benefits.
• Ability to use scheduling systems to optimise staffing levels.
• Strong communication and rapport-building with patients.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Visit Preparation: Review the schedule 24-48 hours in advance to identify missing documentation, expired authorisations, or insurance gaps.
• Digital-First Intake: Facilitate patient check-in via digital tools, ensuring demographics, consents, and Patient-Ready signals are complete.
• Queue & Wait-Time Management: Monitor waiting room and EMR task queues; communicate delays transparently to patients and staff.
• Point-of-Service (POS) Collections: Discuss financial responsibility with patients and process payments with integrity.
• Exit & Outreach: Schedule follow-ups and manage outreach for no-shows or preventive care.
