Responsibilities include handling calls, verifying demographics, and maintaining provider schedules across multiple clinics. The position requires 1+ year in customer service and preferred EMR experience, with some Saturday shifts and potential travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in customer service.
• Preferred experience in a medical office or call center setting.
• EMR systems experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Spanish language ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers assigned office line and overflow lines promptly.
• Clears voicemails and returns calls timely.
• Schedules appointments following provider templates and processes.
• Verifies patient demographic information during scheduling.
• Monitors and maintains schedules to ensure proper patient flow.
• Works with Office Leads to fill and maintain provider schedules.
• Relays messages to appropriate staff (e.g., nurse messages).
• Prepares for daily computer downtime by printing/storing schedules.
• Verifies state insurance and PCP assignment for coverage.
