Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of customer service experience or six months in CPAR-I with call-center metrics.
• Proficient in Windows-based systems.
• Two years of office, clerical, or call-center experience; medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, referrals/orders and medical insurance preferred.
• Electronic Medical Record experience; EPIC preferred.
• Familiarity with data entry and complex scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• All CPAR‑I functions.
• Handle higher volume clinics, specialty and/or ambulatory procedure scheduling.
• Aid callers/patients with referral coordination, patient registration, and scheduling new and follow‑up appointments for multiple locations.
• Navigate incoming referrals and ensure necessary insurance prior‑authorization is obtained.
• Initiate patient outreach based on referral work queues.
• Schedule interpreter services.
• May function as a Lead Advocate based on demonstrated skills and abilities.
