Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a detail‑oriented Patient Access Coordinator to serve as a professional liaison for patients and families, coordinating scheduling with multiple departments.

You'll screen arrivals, manage appointments, and triage inquiries in a fast‑paced health care setting, using electronic scheduling and EMR systems, while upholding compassionate, patient‑centered service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize concurrent responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow with clinical staff to direct and monitor patient location.
• Greet and screen patients; check in using scheduling system.
• Assemble and distribute paperwork to patients and staff.
• Triage questions and forward to appropriate staff.
• Schedule all patient appointments and referrals; coordinate with departments for efficient flow.
• Communicate needs and schedules with providers, technologists and nurses.
• Manage and prioritize scheduling requests; recognize emergencies.
