The ideal candidate has 6 months of front desk/customer service experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to learn Epic during the introductory period.

Qualifikationen

• 6 months experience in a customer service/front desk role or a graduate of a front office/medical office program.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with Epic during introductory period is expected.

• Register patients in EMR accurately and edit patient information as needed.
• Explain billing procedures and anticipated charges to patients to aid understanding of liability.
• Assist patients with payment collection and establish payment plans as needed.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure payor requirements are met.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts and records.
