Intermountain Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Representative in Murray, Utah. You will greet patients, verify information, and handle check-in/out, scheduling, and EMR documentation to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous connections with patients over the phone, in person or via secure messaging and resolve needs for a superior experience.
• Document all phone calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by confirming and updating demographic data in the registration system.
• Obtain insurance cards and IDs; verify information for insurance coordination of benefits.
• Assist patients with regulatory and billing forms; educate on financial assistance; process payments.
• Stay current with duties and attend meetings to maintain high performance.
