Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect PHI and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with intake and care, greet and check-in/out.
• Document phone calls in EMR accurately.
• Schedule appointments for visits, tests, referrals.
• Register patients by updating demographic data.
• Assist with insurance cards and signatures; verify COI.
• Collect payments and educate patients on financial assistance.
• Stay current on role/responsibilities via communications.
