Job summary

Corewell Health's Zeeland Hospital is seeking a part-time Patient Access Clerk to greet patients, register and check in, and help navigate services. You will handle calls, schedule appointments, and perform basic clerical duties in a fast-paced Patient Access Center.

Responsibilities include maintaining records in EPIC, assisting with insurance questions, and supporting safety initiatives. Work is 24 hours weekly, days, with every-other-weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients or visitors as a concierge.
• Handles clerical tasks: answers practice phone calls, schedules appointments, orders supplies, generates letters, processes mail and deliveries, and registers reports.
