Qualifikationen

• High School or Equivalent is required.
• Two years of clinical or customer service experience.
• Preferred: three years of direct customer service experience.

Aufgaben

• Collects complete and accurate patient information for medical triage and data entry.
• Identifies urgent patients and coordinates pre-certification or pre-authorization as needed.
• Obtains external medical records and transfers them to HIM/Cordata for review.
• Obtains demographic/billing/insurance information and enters into registration/billing systems.
• Communicates with patients, physicians, and insurers about coverage and financial responsibilities.
