Job summary

PT Solutions is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring every step of the care journey is seamless and supported.

You will verify insurance coverage, secure prior authorizations, coordinate physician referrals, and optimize schedules, while benefiting from ongoing training and clear paths for advancement in a nationwide physical therapy practice.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; diploma submitted for highest level obtained.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience, healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed following HIPAA guidelines.
• Verify insurance and manage benefits.
• Obtain authorization and prior authorization as needed.
• Over-the-counter collections and weekly/monthly charge reconciliation.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal teams.
