Job summary

You will own administrative and communication processes, including verifying coverage, obtaining authorizations, coordinating referrals, and optimizing schedules, to help patients access care quickly and confidently. This role offers growth within a supportive, mission-driven clinic.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience, healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and billed units, following HIPAA guidelines.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits; manage prior authorizations.
• Obtain authorizations and/or prior authorizations.
• Oversee collections and reconciliation of charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal departments.
