Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front office receptionist to ensure a seamless patient experience from arrival to checkout.

In this role you will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and coordinate follow-up appointments for casts, measurements, delivery, and prosthetic care plans. Ideal candidates bring a background in medical front office or receptionist work, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Windows-based software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Talent Sorter assessment may be administered during selection.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience required.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record must meet company policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk and provide information on wait times.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in; handle registrations.
• Collect patient payments (deductibles, copays, coinsurance) at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments including casts, measurements, delivery and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
