Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of medical office/front-desk experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out with professionalism.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments to optimize access.
• Verify insurance details and update patient demographics in the system.
• Collect copayments and issue receipts; reconcile daily transactions.
• Answer phones, route inquiries, and schedule follow-ups as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Assist with referrals and follow-up scheduling for specialists.
• Participate in team huddles and monitor scheduling dashboards for improvements.
