Aufgaben

• Obtain demographic, billing, and insurance information and enter into the registration/billing systems.
• Complete pre-certification and authorizations as needed.
• Prepare consent forms and obtain patient signatures.
• Collect deposits, co-payments, deductibles, and patient liabilities; document payments.
• Prepare patient armband and ensure correct identification.
• Balance daily receipts and cash drawer; follow up on system flags.
• Initiate screenings and obtain information for coverage.
• Perform medical necessity checks and complete Advanced Beneficiary Notice as needed.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patients per hospital workflows.
• Check order completeness and validate against scheduled service.
