Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State criminal background check and Federal check if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Obtain demographic, billing and insurance information and enter into registration/billing systems; collect deposits and payments and document in systems.
• Complete pre-certifications and authorizations for managed care as applicable.
• Prepare consent and privacy forms and obtain signatures; obtain electronic consent for treatment and financial obligations.
• Prepare armbands for patient identification and balance daily receipts.
• Assist with screenings and gather information for coverage; perform medical necessity checks as needed.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel patient appointments according to hospital workflows.
• Check orders for completeness and validate against scheduled services.
