Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Patient Access Services Representative in Scottsdale to greet patients, verify insurance, and support scheduling and financial discussions. The role emphasizes accuracy in registrations and collecting co-pays in a fast-paced imaging center.

You'll work with the Scottsdale-Img Ctr team to ensure smooth patient flow, eligibility verification, and appropriate documentation, while offering patients clear financial information and available resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient financial services, billing or insurance processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, verify insurance and exam details.
• Handle scheduling and patient calls; perform financial counseling when appropriate.
• Collect co-pays and payments at the time of service; process authorizations and demographics.
• Collaborate with billing, payors and clinical staff to maximize reimbursement.
• Meet productivity and accuracy goals while delivering excellent customer service.
