Job summary

AdventHealth in Greenwood Village, CO seeks a full-time, day-shift Patient Access/Finance role to support Medicare compliance and patient financial responsibility processes. You will verify insurance eligibility, obtain pre-authorizations, and register patients while ensuring accurate billing and records.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Ideal candidates have healthcare/customer service experience and knowledge of EMR systems, with CHAA/CRCR preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or revenue cycle is preferred.
• 1+ customer service experience is preferred.
• CHAA or CRCR certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Medicare compliance reviews and issues ABNs as needed.
• Creates accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility and collects or sets payment plans.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-authorizations within timeframes.
• Registers patients for services and maintains accurate records.
• Communicates with clinical, ancillary, and access departments to improve patient experience.
• Manages cashiering functions including collections and cash reconciliation.
