Tufts Medicine is seeking a part-time Patient Access Associate at Lowell General Hospital - Main Campus. The role focuses on revenue cycle tasks including billing, collections, and financial clearance.

You will interview patients, collect demographic and financial data, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and assist with scheduling and referrals. Training starts with day shifts Monday–Friday for the first three weeks, with weekend coverage as required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in customer service or hospital registration is preferred.
• Strong customer service and data-entry skills are essential.

• Conduct pre-registration tasks for inpatients/outpatients and collect demographic and financial information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect necessary information for financial clearance.
• Explain consent requirements and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Post payments and document financial information in the system.
• Provide information about financial assistance and contact details to patients.
