Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• One year experience in healthcare setting or customer service; medical terminology and insurance knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately to ensure demographic, physician, insurance and registration data are collected.
• Verify benefits and obtain/submit authorizations as needed.
• Identify referrals and precertifications, and assist with billing and payments per procedures.
