Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typing 45+ WPM and previous clerical experience.
• Great customer service skills and ability to follow hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration duties as requested.
• Obtain correct patient demographic and insurance information.
• Determine benefits, co-pays and deductibles.
• Collect and enter MSP information for Medicare patients.
• Demonstrate competency with equipment and use supplies properly.
• Demonstrate behaviors which promote professionalism.
• Work without constant supervision, meets deadlines, makes decisions based on relevant facts.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
