Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-3 years related work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Strong data entry and typing skills; proficient with Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjusts coverage.
• Obtains signatures on forms and scans documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
• Maintains a neat, secure registration desk and patient area.
• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments.
• Captures and verifies all required patient information.
