Job summary

The Salvation Army Elgin Corps seeks a Social Services Manager to oversee Pathway of Hope casework for families. You will collaborate with the Regional Social Work Manager and Corps Officers to implement program objectives, provide direct services, maintain records, and identify resources to support participating families.

You will supervise social service staff and volunteers, help build community partnerships, manage referrals, and ensure compliance with program standards while expanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human service field is required.
• MSW preferred.
• Minimum two years of case management experience.
• Minimum one year of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Valid driver's license and MVR clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Pathway of Hope casework services for families at the Elgin Corps.
• Provide direct services, record-keeping, and resource referrals.
• Provide leadership and supervision for social service programs and staff.
• Collaborate with Regional Social Work Manager and Corps Officers.
• Develop, monitor, and report on POH program outcomes and budgets.
