The Salvation Army in Elgin, IL is seeking a Social Services Manager to oversee Pathway of Hope casework for families. You will collaborate with the Regional Social Work Manager and Corps Officer to implement program objectives, deliver direct services, maintain records, and identify resources to support participating families.

You will supervise social service staff and volunteers, coordinate with community partners, ensure compliance, and guide program development through ongoing documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human service area is required.
• Minimum of two years of case management experience.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Completion of the Territorial Caseworker Certification Program within the first 90 days of hire.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English); ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsabilités

• Directly manage Pathway of Hope casework for families.
• Provide intake and assessment services per POH curriculum.
• Lead and supervise social service staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with community resources to support family goals.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in required systems.
