Job summary

CVS Health is seeking candidates for the Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program. This development path prepares you for a CVS Store Manager role through a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training process.

You will participate in virtual and hands-on learning with a support system including your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Retail management experience or CVS Supervisor experience valued.
• A four-year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Communicate well verbally and in writing to support and lead the team.
• Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage the store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Actively engage with leadership to support your path to promotion.
• Lead as a member of the management team consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of CVS’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
