Job summary

Bruegger's Enterprises, Inc. is seeking District Shift Leaders to participate in a General Manager development plan with a clear path to GM ownership when a position is available. Shifts start as early as 3am and include responsibilities across the market to support bakery operations.

Develop leadership skills, oversee store teams, and learn inventory, vendor orders, cash management, and P&L analysis as part of the progression toward a GM role. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3am).
• Must pass background check and possess a current, valid driver's license.
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan, if a valid certification is not already in possession

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Lead by example, provide coaching and training for the teams.
• Learn inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management as part of the GM development plan.
• Traveling provides the opportunity to gain further independence and learn from additional leaders in the area.
• The GM development plan will include training in restaurant administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management, and lead to a GM role when available.
