Job summary

Bruegger's Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to participate in a targeted General Manager development plan and eventually own a bakery as a GM when a position becomes available. The role starts with managing a home location, with opportunities to support other bakeries in the market as needed.

You will begin with early shifts (as early as 3am) to oversee baking and opening duties, and you will lead by example, coach teams, and maintain high standards for food quality and store safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3am).
• Must be able to pass background check and possess a current, valid driver's license.
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan, if a valid certification is not already in possession.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Travel to other locations within the market to gain independence and learn from other leaders.
• Lead by example, coach and train teams, and ensure high-quality food and a safe, clean store environment.
