Job summary

Sage Patent Group seeks a patent agent to manage prosecution for local and global clients. The ideal candidate will have 1–4 years of patent prosecution experience, drafting and filing patent applications, and responding to Office Actions while handling large clients with global portfolios.

Candidates must be USPTO-licensed. A hard science background is required; degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to prosecute patents and manage portfolios.
• Draft and file patent applications with accuracy and timeliness.
• Respond to Office Actions and reissues with strategic analysis.
• Manage large, sometimes global, client portfolios and dockets.
• Deep technical background in hard sciences supports claim drafting.
