Key Responsibilities

• Meet with inventors to draft patent applications for filing with the USPTO.
• Prosecute patent applications, including engaging with USPTO Examiners.
• Work closely with clients and attorneys to develop and refine claim strategies.
• Manage a docket of cases for clients ranging from start-ups to global corporations.
• Assist with patent counseling matters such as noninfringement and invalidity opinions, due diligence, freedom-to-operate, and landscape analyses.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of prosecution experience.
• Technical background in electrical engineering, computer/software, mechanical engineering, chemistry/biochemistry, biology, or physics preferred.
• Strong commitment to client service.
