Confidential Employer in the United States seeks an experienced Patent Prosecution Attorney to draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications across electrical, computer, software, controls, and electromechanical technologies. This remote, full-time opportunity partners with corporate clients and international portfolios.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of patent prosecution, active USPTO registration, and a J.D. with strong drafting, analytical, and technical communication skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active state bar membership.
• Active USPTO registration and patent prosecution experience.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications in electrical, computer, software, controls, and electromechanical fields.
• Develop prosecution strategies to protect client IP portfolios.
• Prepare applications, amendments, and responses to Office Actions.
• Communicate with inventors and clients to translate concepts into protection.
• Manage matters through the filing and examination process.
• Support international patent procurement across Europe, Asia, and other jurisdictions.
• Collaborate to deliver high-quality work while meeting billable expectations.
