Requirements include 2–6 years of patent prosecution, USPTO registration, a technical or scientific degree, and excellent communication. GPA 3.0+ preferred; remote work across U.S. time zones offered.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of patent prosecution experience.
• USPTO registration.
• Relevant technical or scientific degree.
• 3.0+ undergraduate GPA preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Strong client-service skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications for filing with the USPTO.
• Prosecute U.S. patent applications and conduct Examiner interviews.
• Develop and refine claim strategies with inventors and attorneys.
• Independently manage a patent prosecution docket.
• Support clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
• Assist with freedom-to-operate analyses, patent landscapes, due diligence, and noninfringement/invalidity opinions.
