Job summary

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking an intermediate line cook to join our hotel kitchen team. You will work on a single station, support meal preparation, and uphold quality and safety standards in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has hotel kitchen experience, a culinary degree or equivalent, strong English communication, and a genuine desire to deliver exceptional service. This on-site role offers growth, teamwork, and the chance to advance within Hyatt

An intermediate line cook requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Intermediate cook will work single stations in the kitchen and require significant supervision and training.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in a fast-paced culinary environment
• Proficient English language skills are required
• 2 years of previous culinary experience
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills including using basic kitchen equipment
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
