Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality’s Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix seeks an Executive Pastry Chef to lead the pastry shop under the direction of the Executive Chef. You will oversee coordination, organization, and production across banquet and restaurant pastry operations.

The role requires a pastry degree and 5 years of leadership, with 2–3 years in a luxury hotel. You will hire, train, and mentor pastry teams while driving quality, cost control, and menu development.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive pastry leadership experience.
• 2–3 years in a luxury hotel or resort environment with multi-unit operations.
• At least 2 years experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef in all areas of culinary operations.
• Schedule, purchasing, quality control and discipline in pastry kitchen.
• Follow food handlers' guidelines and abide by all food safety rules and requirements.
• Daily follow up on product freshness, rotation and development.
• Develop and implement recipes for all areas of the Hotel pastry operations.
• Lead and coordinate pastry production for banquets and restaurant functions.
