Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced Pastry Leader for the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. You will oversee all pastry operations, lead a skilled team, and develop menus for resort-wide events and daily service.

This role requires a pastry degree, 5+ years of progressive pastry leadership, and a current Food Handling Safety Certification. The property is a luxury hotel offering exceptional dining and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Pastry degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Pastry.
• 5 years of progressive pastry leadership experience, including 2–3 years in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Current Food Handling Safety Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef in all areas of culinary operations.
• Schedule, purchasing, quality control and discipline in all areas of the Pastry kitchen operation.
• Follow food handlers’ guidelines and abide by all food safety rules and requirements.
• Develop desserts and pastries menus for all Pastry related events and functions.
• Hire, train, and mentor Pastry Associates and lead the pastry team.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce costs through in-house production.
