Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a pastry cook to join the team at Hotel Cala in Tampa. You will bake and prepare a range of pastries, as well as hot and cold dishes, while maintaining mise en place and following recipes to company standards.

Minimum 1 year baking or pastry experience is required, and prior work in a high-volume venue is preferred. The role requires teamwork, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year baking or pastry experience required; relevant education or equivalent Tao Group Hospitality related experience required.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests.
• Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications.
• Prepare all restaurant foods, hot and cold. Responsible for working in all aspects of food preparation.
• Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or directions from the expeditor.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station.
• Follow supervisor's instructions, and communicate with and support co-workers, while being a team player.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes with the ability to execute them to company standards.
• Possesses general knowledge of the venue.
• Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
• Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff.
