Job summary

Manthey Hospitality's Craft Tampa is seeking a part-time Pastry Chef / Cook to craft pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods for a waterfront dining vessel in Tampa, FL. You will prepare desserts to high standards, decorate with piping and glazing, and collaborate on seasonal offerings.

You'll join a culinary team in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment with gas-fired equipment aboard Craft Tampa, with opportunities to contribute to menu development and stay current on dessert trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of pastry, baking, or related culinary experience.
• Strong understanding of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.
• Creativity and passion for developing new ideas and menu items.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes consistently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products with consistency and attention to detail.
