The Pastry Cook is a precise position. You will execute recipes for all outlets, plate banquets, and maintain a clean work station. You’re driven by fresh, local food and want to be part of creating the next best thing.

Our Food and Beverage areas are designed to impress! This is not just a restaurant or hotel banquet operation; it’s a culinary hub for gatherings and entertainment. Open for all meal periods and late-night snacks, our goal is to create an ambiance where locals and visitors feel at home, with surprises to impress. This is achieved with a dedicated team led by a seasoned hospitality professional.

This role is ideal for someone hardworking, eager to learn, and passionate about creating memorable cuisine to enhance guest experiences daily. You will execute recipes that impact all hotel outlets.

The Nitty-Gritty:

Here are your essential responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

  1. Taste, Taste, Taste! Responsible for preparing recipes for all outlets, ensuring consistency and deliciousness.
  2. Precision. Baking and pastry require exact measurements; accuracy is key.
  3. Communication. Be proactive in communication, alerting team members to low supplies and adapting as needed.
  4. Cleanliness and Organization. Maintain a sanitary, organized work environment, following health codes. Use labels and keep sanitation buckets ready.
  5. Teamwork. Collaborate and support colleagues, treating everyone with respect.

Background must-have:

  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Food Service Handler Card (minimum 6 months validity)
  • Preferred: 1-2 years’ experience in a full-service restaurant or hotel lounge
