Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• Degree in culinary arts preferred; extensive experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• 1-2 years kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table brand and deliver memorable in-store culinary experiences.
• Drive class enrollment and revenue through engaging pastry classes.
• Set up and breakdown classes, prep ingredients, and maintain clean workstations.
• Ensure food safety standards and compliance; manage inventory and reduce waste.
• Provide clear instruction and mentorship during pastry sessions.
