Qualifications

• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Degree in culinary arts preferred; extensive culinary experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead pastry and baking classes delivering hands-on instruction.
• Uphold high culinary standards and ensure class enrollment goals.
• Set up and breakdown classes and maintain mise en place.
• Represent Sur La Table and promote products during classes.
• Ensure safety and sanitation in a dynamic kitchen classroom.
