Job summary

Sur La Table in West Palm Beach seeks a Chef Instructor, Pastry to lead hands-on pastry classes, share baking techniques, and inspire customers to explore baking at home. You will represent the brand during classes, drive sales of bakeware and decorating tools, assist with mise en place, and uphold food-safety standards in every session.

Part-time role, 12–16 hours/week with evenings and weekends; a culinary degree is preferred (extensive experience may substitute); must be 21+ with a valid Food

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Culinary degree preferred; extensive culinary experience may substitute.
• 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for community engagement and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-store pastry and baking classes and demonstrate techniques.
• Drive sales of bakeware and decorating tools during classes.
• Set up and break down classes, prep ingredients, and maintain clean stations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and SOPs.
