Job summary

Sur La Table in the United States is seeking a Chef Instructor, Pastry to be the in-store expert for baking and pastry arts. You will deliver best-in-class instruction, share specialized pastry techniques, and drive sales of bakeware, mixers, and decorating tools through hands-on classes.

You will inspire a love for baking while modeling exceptional customer experiences, uphold food safety and SOPs, and partner with store teams to create memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment.
• A culinary arts degree is preferred; however, candidates with extensive culinary experience and demonstrated technical proficiency will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
