Job summary

Wolfgang Puck Maui is seeking an accomplished Pastry Chef to lead our pastry program at Spago Maui, delivering dessert artistry that reflects the standards of the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group. Qualifications

  • Experience leading a pastry team in a luxury hotel, Michelin‑recognized or fine dining restaurant.
  • Exceptional technical pastry skills across plated desserts, breads, viennoiserie, chocolate work and frozen desserts.
  • A passion for precision and executing recipes to the highest standard while embracing continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the pastry operation, including production, execution, plating, and quality assurance.
  • Execute Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group's established pastry program with exceptional consistency and attention to detail.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop the pastry team while fostering a collaborative, high‑performing kitchen culture.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef to thoughtfully introduce seasonal desserts and menu enhancements that celebrate Hawaii's ingredients while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Manage ordering, inventory, food cost, labor efficiency, and production schedules.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, food safety, and sanitation.
  • Deliver desserts that complete each guest's dining experience with creativity, elegance, and consistency.

What You Bring
