Qualifications

• General knife handling and food safety knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant or bakery preferred.
• Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly, and improve.
• Able to follow recipes without direct supervision.
• Strong time management and consistent execution of dishes.
• Full availability, including weekends.

Responsabilités

• Mix and bake ingredients to produce bread, rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, pastries, or other baked goods.
• Assist Pastry Chef in expanding bread programs and offerings.
• Assist Pastry Chef in launching Grab & Go Pastries & Sweets program for guests of the Mayflower.
• Ensure proper storage of food items following refrigeration and storage standards.
• Supervise, operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment.
• Ensure sanitation standards per Health Dept regulations and keep kitchen clean and organized.
• Monitor safe food handling procedures and safe working environment.
• Maintain neat professional appearance and personal cleanliness at all times.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
