Job summary

Pricesdairy in El Paso, TX is seeking a dependable Pasteurizer Operator to ensure product is pasteurized to safety standards and produced according to recipes and batch guidelines.

You will collect samples, wash and sanitize equipment, follow GMPs, and work in a fast-paced team environment. English literacy and accurate record keeping are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pasteurizer in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Obtain milk and cream samples for testing by lab to include raw and processed product.
• Wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and equipment as needed.
• Produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches.
• Follow recipe guidelines for all products produced.
• Report any food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with regulations.
• Follow GMPs and all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate pasteurizer in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Obtain milk and cream samples for testing by lab to include raw and processed product
• Wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and any other equipment as needed
• Produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches
• Follow recipe guidelines for all products produced.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
