Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is hiring a Passenger Service Agent in McAllen, TX. You will provide frontline service at the ticket counter and gate, assist with reservations, tickets, baggage, and refunds, and ensure safety and adherence to airline procedures.

Candidates should have strong communication, basic math, and computer skills, plus 1+ year of customer service experience preferred. Training and uniforms are provided as part of AGI’s benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• US work authorization; Canada work authorization if location is in Canada.
• Must complete SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification.
• Preferred: 1+ year of relevant experience; airline experience and customer service experience are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the ticket counter and gate per AGI and airline standards.
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed at all times.
• Handle reservations, tickets, itineraries, fares, refunds, and baggage processes.
• Assist with lost and found, baggage tracing, and claims handling.
• Answer flight schedules and general travel questions for passengers.
• Meet aircraft at gate, assist with boarding, and verify passenger documents.
• Determine flight close-out times and complete post-departure forms.
• Coordinate flight movement communications between gate, ground team, and crew.
• Follow Dangerous Goods procedures.
