Part-Time Receptionist / Clerical (Bilingual Preferred)
Location: San Antonio, Texas (on-site)
Position Type: Part-time (typically 16-20 hours/week; schedule set within normal business

Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, dependable Part-Time Receptionist/Clerical Assistant to
serve as the first point of contact for clients and to support day-to-day administrative
operations in our San Antonio law office.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized,
courteous, and able to manage a busy front desk while handling confidential legal
information with discretion. Notary Public is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is
preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Client Experience
- Greet clients and visitors, manage check-in, and maintain a polished reception area
- Answer and route multi-line phone calls; take accurate messages, tracking and
- communicating those messages interoffice and ensure timely follow-up with callers
- Schedule consultations and appointments; coordinate calendars and conference room
- logistics
- Assist with client intake packets and general front-desk questions (without providing legal
- advice)
Clerical/Administrative Support
- Copy, scan, print, assemble, and file documents (paper and electronic)
- Prepare and proofread correspondence, labels, envelopes, and basic document formatting
- in Word/PDF
- Organize client files and help open/close matters consistent with firm procedures
- Support probate and estate planning workflows with document handling (e.g., execution
- packets, mailing packets, checklists)
Mail, Deliveries, and Records
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries; coordinate outgoing
- mail/couriers
- Perform accurate data entry (client/matter information, contact updates)
- Maintain confidentiality of client records and sensitive personal/financial documents
- Assist with records retention and general office organization
Office Operations
- Monitorand restock office supplies; coordinate with vendors as needed
- Provide overflow administrative help to attorneys and support staff during peak times
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience (professional
- office preferred)
- Strong phone etiquette and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) and comfort with scanning/copying/PDF

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities in a client-facing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) with ability to communicate professionally with clients in both
- languages
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services office
- Familiarity with legal documents and workflows (estate planning and probate exposure is a
- plus)
- Experience with client intake, scheduling, and/or case/matter management software
