Job summary

GreenMark Equipment is a premier John Deere dealership serving Southwestern Michigan and Northern Indiana. We are seeking a Parts Specialist to provide top-notch service for customers purchasing parts in-store and online, and to assist with information on promotions and accounts.

The parts department supports service departments for timely customer repairs. This role emphasizes excellent customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork with the service team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience connecting with customers and maintaining a professional image.
• Ability to establish rapport with customers.
• Understanding of selling processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to service department, counter & phone customers.
• Provide recommendation for sales of additional related or needed parts or accessories.
• Timely and accurate processing of all in-store orders; completes orders by communicating with customers on pick-up or delivery status.
• Locating and obtaining merchandise for customers, whether in-stock, out-of-stock or non-stocked merchandise.
• Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to Supervisor.
• Assists with preparing and maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays.
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
• Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs.
