Job summary

AHW LLC is seeking a Parts Counter Associate to sell our tiered portfolio of parts over the counter and provide parts to the service department. You will handle special orders and support the service team with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include meeting monthly sales goals, inventory integrity, product demonstrations, and using JD Parts and related tools. The role requires strong communication and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of parts experience or equivalent sales or service experience.
• Experience connecting with customers and maintains professional image.
• Demonstrates basic understanding of the selling processes.
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.
• Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Experience working both independently and in a team setting.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs and routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Educates and engages customers through product demonstrations and promotions.
• Effectively uses computer applications including: Sales Manual, JD Parts®, Parts Expert®, JD Point®, PartsAdvisor®, barcode system and Dealer Business System.
• Communicates, executes, and monitors Parts Department standard processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
• Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
