Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC) is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Branch Parts Department, driving growth and profitability. You will plan, direct, and control activities to meet objectives, train staff, and maintain high customer service standards.

Responsibilities include setting sales and expense budgets, ensuring policy compliance, and staying attuned to market conditions while promoting safety and positive customer relations.

Qualifications

• Three years of prior parts department experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of all phases of the parts department.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Strong work ethic with willingness to work extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess present and future needs and profit opportunities of the Parts Department.
• Establish short- and long-term operating and financial objectives.
• Ensure policies and objectives are understood and applied within the department.
• Formulate annual and monthly sales/profit objectives and budgets.
• Develop merchandising strategies to achieve objectives.
• Promote safe work habits and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Lead and train parts department personnel.
• Communicate effectively within and between departments.
