Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers. You will also pick up returns, stock shelves, assist in upselling, and maintain clean store operations. This role requires safe driving, strong customer service, and the ability to work flexible days including weekends.

Responsibilities include daily credit account collection, inventory familiarity, and engaging with walk-in customers to recommend parts. Prior automotive parts experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
