Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a dependable delivery driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs. You will maintain inventory, assist with upselling, and ensure a clean, organized store environment.

The role requires strong customer service skills, basic math, and the ability to work flexible days, including weekends. Automotive parts knowledge is preferred, with a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts knowledge or experience preferred.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
